Tuesday Infographic: The Future of Alternative Fuels

The diverse market that has been established regarding alternative fuel vehicles has been put under the microscope by British motor retail Motorparks. So, in true Young Academic style we have decided to buck the trend and bring you a Tuesday infographic.

Within the brand’s latest infographic, you can chart the recent success that has been achieved by electric cars — this particular market has been making headlines recently with the news that more than 10,000 Nissan Leaf cars have now been sold — as well as learn about the growing popularity of hydrogen-powered vehicles.

While both concepts have achieved a lot of accomplishments over the last few years, the visual also reveals that the origins of both hydrogen and electric vehicles can be traced back to the early 19th century.
