Mutineers – ‘Friends, Lovers, Rivals’

Quietly subversive, these renegades have banded together and risen from the ashes of the aforementioned legends of the rebellious Madchester scene.

Recent support slots with The View, Wintersleep, Pete Doherty and Bernard Sumner’s Bad Lieutenant, together with the promotion of the forthcoming single “Infidelity” have opened up the band to a wider audience. Now, with this, their début album recorded partly in the Welsh valleys and partly in the ever-inspiring city of London, Mutineers are truly ready to burst onto the scene.

Perfectly crafted, the stirring, enigmatically poppy debut album, “Friends, Lovers, Rivals” features soft lingering songs with poppy hooks that sparkle to the foreground. The record evokes the dark energy of Echo and the Bunnymen merged with the soft lyrical genius of The Smiths, all interpreted in a fresh new rebellious way. Join us; come aboard; let these boys run a riot with your heart and lead the mutiny.

Mutineers are:

Nicholas James Mallins of The Cardinals – Vocals

Iwan Gronow of The Cardinals, Haven, Johnny Marr and the Healers – Bass

Jack Mitchell of Haven, Marion – Drums
