Dedicated to bringing you all the latest on the forthcoming festival season as well as the current UK news, today Young Academic brings you a follw-up to local festival Parklife Weekender. Hosted by the team behind the hugely successful Warehouse Project, Parklife Weekender, now in its second year is set to return as two day event due to its huge success last year. The complete line up has now been revealed with the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, Chase & Status and Katy B among the acts set to appear at this years Parklife Weekender in Manchester this June.
Manchester, described as the music capital of Britain is home to Parklife Weekender which this year will return as a two day affair on Platt Fields Park from 11th to 12th June. Each day will feature six canvassed arenas and the open air main stage featuring a fine selection of artists from across the globe.

The final line-up, featuring over 120 acts of electro, drum ‘n’ bass, dubstep, house, techno and disco has now been revealed and boy, have the organisers spoilt us this year. As well as the aforementioned artists, festival goers are in for a treat with Electro DJ Erol Alkan, popular indie band Mystery Jets and Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac as well as many, many more – for the full line up head over to the Parklife Weekender website.
