Basscamp Festival Could Provide Students With Perfect Spring Snowsports Party

We’re not just interested in the huge festivals here at Young Academic, the Festival Guide is well and truly back and as the sun starts shining we simply can’t wait to get the tents back out and start seeing Europe’s top bands and DJ’s. Loyal readers out there will have already had their teeth stuck into our great Soundwave and Beach Break Live reviews and we have news for you today in the shape of Morzine’s first ever snow sports and electronic music festival.

Basscamp Festival is being branded by organisers and the new powdery party for the Alps and is not even that far away!

Students across the United Kingdom will no doubt be jumping at the chance to lap up the bright blue skies of the Portes du Soleil and work on their goggle tans! With many third years finished with lectures all together and others looking for the perfect break from revision why not do it piste-side each and every day. As with other snow sport festivals, Basscamp will then give you the opportunity to get their raves on with tuned laid down by some of the best international DJ’s.[right_image link=”URL-HERE”]http://www.youngacademic.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/festival-guide-basscamp.jpg[/right_image]

Basscamp Festival is bringing together the two colossal worlds of snow sports and electronic music and smashing them together over the Alpine ski resort of Morzine to create an energy and atmosphere that has never been seen mountain-side before.

This snow and dance music extravaganza will take place between 2nd and 6th April 2012. Acts already on the banging bass heavy line-up include Thomas Gandey, Benny Page, DJ Switch and Marco del Horno alongside many others. The line-up is guaranteed to have the mountains shaking. Embrace the snow, sun and musical mayhem of Basscamp Festival.

This addition to the festival guide is also a snip at just £100 for a 5 day festival wristband! At a score a day, you cant go wrong with this event! You can even upgrade to just 299E for accommodation and the official Basscamp Festival wristband.
